"mobile-data traffic to grow 300-fold by 2015"

Yes, that is the news in The Economist website.
“Nokia Siemens Networks, a maker of network gear, expects mobile-data traffic to grow 300-fold by 2015.”

I mentioned in my previous post of how data on phones are soon to be more research-friendly, and therefore useful to the companies who are looking to tap into user habits. And waiting on the sidelines to get a piece of action I assume are the media planners and agencies.

With smart phones on the rise, we all love the idea of a mini computer instead of a mobile phone, so mobile brands are catching up. The industry may not be recession-proof, but it definitely is blooming so far with high predictions for the coming years.
