Co-op goes on air

Finally, the Co-operative Group’s new campaign, the one I mentioned in one of my previous posts, has aired on TV during Coronation Street (16 February). The ad goes for 2:30 minutes. The ad brings all services of the Co-op Group together under one core value, instead of focusing on one service. (This is their marketing intention this year). However, the ad is way too long. The use of the hard-earned song Blowing in the Wind by Bob Dylan is justified, because to be honest the song is the only reason someone would watch (or listen to) this ad for this long! In only a couple of days it attracted thousands of viewers on Youtube though, however due to copyrights the soundtrack is not available on it, yet.

Here, you can view it yourself.
